The Challenge
Data4 needed a strategy to launch in Poland and build key relationships
Data4, a European leading operator and investor in the data centre market, asked us to prepare and implement a communications strategy that would allow the company to successfully launch its business operations in the Polish market, communicate their investment in the first data centre campus in Poland, and support relationship building with key stakeholders. A significant moment came in 2023, when the company opened its first facility in Poland.
The Solution
The strategy captivated media, spotlighted Data4’s green solutions, and boosted political brand awareness through dynamic PR
The strategy was based on reaching primarily the business and technology media, and the message pointed out Data4’s advantages over other players in the industry, such as flexibility and the use of green, zero-carbon solutions. Additionally, the PR campaign was supported by building brand awareness among political stakeholders responsible for shaping the IT ecosystem in Poland. Our activities included running a press office, arranging media publications, organising media events, building expert’s profile in media and LinkedIn, and providing support at Tier1 economic and industry events.
The Results
In May 2023, we announced the completion of the first phase of our client’s major data center campus investment in Warsaw. The media coverage we secured followed a press briefing for local, business, news and tech media held at the Data4's headquarters in Poland.
