Grayling has launched a new DACH region following a strategic review of its operations in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Richard Jukes, Global CEO said ‘We are excited to announce a new, integrated, structure for our services in the DACH region, bringing everything under the single leadership of our Austrian CEO, who now becomes CEO of DACH.  We will retain offices in both Germany and Austria, as well as building on our strong links in Switzerland, but we have seen a desire from clients for more integrated regional support and delivery, and more briefs that span the three markets. We believe there is strong growth potential in the region and our decision reflects this.’

After leading Grayling’s Austrian office as CEO since 2014, Sigrid Krupica has taken on the role of Head of the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) for the network. With a team of around 40 communications professionals – including longstanding experts in both Germany and Austria – Grayling is ideally positioned to deliver integrated communications solutions across the German-speaking region and to further strengthen cross-border collaboration, knowledge sharing, and expertise.

In her new role, Sigrid Krupica will be responsible for client relationships, new business development, and the strategic growth of Grayling in the German-speaking region, with a strong emphasis on integrated, client-centred service. Clients will benefit from the expanded team’s collective experience and expertise, while local market nuances within the region will continue to be respected. Grayling already operates across borders in the DACH region, delivering communications programmes for clients such as Microsoft, woom, and Starbucks.

Sigrid Krupica brings decades of experience in strategic communications consultancy, combining clear strategic thinking with creativity and a strong focus on feasibility and impact. Alongside her role at Grayling, she has long been dedicated to advancing the PR industry – including serving as a board member of the Public Relations Association of Austria (PRVA) and acting as a juror for the International German PR Prize since 2018.

“I’m truly grateful for the trust placed in me and the opportunity to further strengthen collaboration across the DACH region. Together with my experienced and highly motivated leadership team, I will ensure that our clients benefit from this more connected offering – one that combines local expertise with an international perspective,” says Sigrid Krupica.

“Cross-border teams and collaboration opens the door to a broader talent pool and fosters greater innovation through diversity of perspective. This creates advantage not just for our clients but also for our colleagues and their own development. The DACH region will continue to work closely with our international network of 30 offices in 19 markets across Europe and the world” adds Richard Jukes.

Grayling is a part of the Accordience Group, alongside Citigate Dewe Rogerson, Red, movement and Cirkle operating in 28 different locations across the globe in Europe, Asia and the USA.
