Grayling appoints new Germany CEO
Januar 9th, 2024
Grayling today announces the appointment of Emmanuelle Bitton-Glaab as its Germany CEO. Emmanuelle will lead the strategic development and growth of the Germany business with a team of more than 20 people based in Frankfurt, Munich and Berlin and drive further cross-border opportunities and integration with the rest of its European network. Grayling Germany advises a large number of German and international customers across various industry sectors, with a focus on energy, healthcare, infrastructure, consumer goods and technology.
This new appointment comes on the back of the acquisition of Advice Partners GmbH in 2022, a management consultancy firm in Berlin, specialising in strategy and communication management, as Grayling looks to strengthen its position as the most extensive corporate affairs network in Europe.
“We are hugely excited about Emmanuelle joining us at Grayling,” said Richard Jukes, Grayling’s Global CEO. “With her cross-sectional background combining consulting and business management, as well as a spirit of change and innovation, Emmanuelle brings a different and dynamic perspective that will further transform our German business.”
Emmanuelle was most recently Managing Director of Glaabsbräu GmbH & Co.KG in Seligenstadt (Hessen), a family-owned brewery, where she focused on Change Management and Sustainability. Strategy, business development and strategic communication form the core expertise she developed either within corporates such as the Gruppe Deutsche Börse, or in consultancies where she held senior positions, recently as a Partner with the Frankfurt-Based consultancy specialised in financial communication and sustainability, GFD-Finanzkommunikation mbH.
“I am particularly happy to join Grayling at a time when companies and institutions have to navigate unprecedented uncertainty and transformation. More than ever, communication, as the cornerstone of corporate strategy, will influence the level of acceptance among internal and external stakeholders – a key factor in determining the resilience and success of companies. Thanks to its recognised sectorial expertise and integrated global network, Grayling is a trusted advisor to companies and institutions in Germany and abroad. Coming from a family-owned business, I especially appreciate the entrepreneurial spirit of the Grayling network and its agility,” said Emmanuelle Bitton-Glaab, CEO of Grayling Germany.
Emmanuelle is a Franco-German bi-national, currently the President of the Franco-German Business Club in Hessen, and is part of the internationally-operating French business network of the French Foreign Trade Advisors, nominated by the French Prime Minister. She is a member of the German-British society in Frankfurt and Board Member of the international “Global Female Leader Summit” in Germany. She is also supporting a Kiew-based UNO-certified NGO dedicated to children protection in Ukraine.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Economics from Reims Business School in France, has a certification of specialisation in Entrepreneurship & Innovation from Harvard Business School, and is certified in Business Sustainability Management from the Institute for Sustainability Leadership of Cambridge University. She also owns a qualification from the Intes Family Academy | PwC for advisory – for advisory and supervisory boards in family-owned companies.
