Grayling appoints new Head of Digital to further bolster digital expertise

Grayling today announces it has appointed Sara Beirne as Head of Digital.

Beirne will work alongside the agency’s data analysis, planning and creative team, IGNITE, with a remit to drive digital growth, expertise and innovation across the Grayling network.

Beirne joins from Eulogy where she was responsible for the company’s digital capabilities as Head of Media, Insights and Planning. She led American Express, the agency’s flagship social account, driving social-first creative across brand, corporate and merchant campaigns and sponsorships. Prior to Eulogy she was at MSL Group, Publicis, leading consumer digital engagement across the agency’s global P&G portfolio.

Her appointment is the latest in several senior level hires that has seen Grayling continue to invest heavily in its strategic counsel, creative and digital capabilities. It comes off the back of a hugely successful year for Grayling and a series of client wins across its network, including The Lego Group and Converse.

Commenting on the hire, Sara Beirne says: “It is a very exciting time to join the Grayling team and collaborate with the company’s incredible talent across its local, regional and international offices. I am very much looking forward to continuing the momentum of this year by accelerating our digital work and advancing the digital capabilities of Grayling’s teams across its network. “

Nathan Kemp, Grayling’s global head of strategy and creative adds: “This is an exciting hire for Grayling. Sara’s arrival not only bolsters our digital and social expertise, but it ensures we are fully leveraging the data, planning and creative capabilities into which we’ve heavily invested and embeds digital and social into the heart of our thinking, ideas and campaigns.”
