Grayling Global CEO Sarah Scholefield elected PRCA Vice-Chair

Grayling’s Global CEO Sarah Scholefield has been elected Vice-Chair of the Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA), following a vote at their recent AGM.

Sarah has been at Grayling for over seven years, having joined in 2014 to lead the strategic direction, coordination, corporate and crisis work for PayPal globally and later being promoted to CEO of UK and Ireland. In September last year, her role was extended to oversee the Grayling business globally.

Her election to the role of Vice-Chair comes after serving on the board of the PRCA, with the PRCA Director General Francis Ingham MPRCA commenting: “Sarah’s professional achievements speak for themselves. She is one of the most highly regarded leaders in our industry and has earned the respect of PR and Communications practitioners around the world. She has been a tremendous asset to our board and I look forward to the PRCA benefitting from her exceptional leadership in the months and years ahead”.

Sarah Scholefield, who will take over from current PRCA Rachel Friend when her term ends in the Autumn of 2022, said: “I’m very proud to take on the role of vice-chair of the PRCA at this pivotal moment for our industry. I am looking forward to working with colleagues across the industry to ensure we provide the support they need as we continue to face a rapidly evolving world, and to help drive the PRCA’s ambition to be a more global organisation, delivering on its reputation as the world’s largest and most influential professional PR body”.
