At first sight the three countries have a lot in common: The shared borders in the heart of the European Alps, the German language spoken by the majority of the inhabitants in each country, stable economies and well-functioning political systems.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Of course you know that Germany and Austria are members of the European Union and Switzerland is not. You are also likely to know that you must pay in Euros when you go out for a business lunch in Berlin or Vienna, but need Franken to do the same in Zurich.<\/p>\n

But what else are the differences between the DACH region countries?
