The trophy was presented last Friday at an official gala in Sofitel Hotel in Warsaw.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Rafa\u0142 Dro\u017adziak, Marketing and Communications Director, Circle K Polska, said: \u201cAs we were prepping for rebranding Statoil to Circle K, we were looking for a partner who would not only have a deep understanding of the fuel and convenience industries, but could also grasp the scale of the project which involved numerous stakeholders and had a material impact on our business. The process ended in March and took nearly 12 months to complete, and now when we\u2019re done I can say with confidence that Grayling Poland was the right choice. We\u2019re very pleased with the outcome, and while the Silver Paperclip award is a precious accolade for our effort, there is another extremely important measure of our success, which is to say brand recognition and positive response to Circle K among our clients and business partners.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDeveloping this particular rebranding campaign was quite a challenge. Having started in Poland more than 20 years ago, Statoil became a highly recognizable and trusted brand among Polish clients and business partners. Meanwhile, Circle K was a completely unknown brand on the Polish market,\u201d said Klara Banaszewska, General Manager, Grayling Poland. \u201cThat makes us even more pleased that our approach resonated with the jury of this prestigious competition which sets the standards for the PR industry in Poland,\u201d added Banaszewska.<\/p>\n<p>Grayling Poland was responsible for the concept and execution of integrated corporate communications in a rebranding campaign, with activities including a series of events, engaging with local media, and media relations.<\/p>\n<p>The Golden Paperclips Awards were launched in 2003 by the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/zfpr.pl\/about-us\" target=\"_top\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Association of Public Relations Companies (ZFPR)<\/a>. Its main goals are to increase professionalism in the Public Relations sector and to create a positive image of the ind<\/p>\n<p>Grayling Poland is one of the largest PR agencies in Poland. It employs over 35 consultants specialised in areas such as Public Affairs, employer branding, PR for the healthcare, financial, energy and public sectors and corporate, crisis and consumer brands communications.<\/p>\n<p>Circle K (formerly Statoil Fuel &amp; Retail Polska), present on the Polish market since 1992, currently operates in Poland ca. 350 petrol stations and convenience stores. In 2012 the brand was acquired by a Canadian concern Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc.
