We are delighted to announce that Baroness (Nicky) Morgan has been appointed to Grayling\u2019s UK Advisory Board.<\/p>\n
The Advisory Board\u2019s purpose is to bring experience and strategic insight to both the business itself as well as providing senior counsel to clients in order to create advantage.<\/p>\n
Nicky Morgan has held powerful positions and high office in both Government and Parliament, most recently as Secretary of State at the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport. Prior to that she was a Government Whip during the Coalition and held senior ministerial roles at HM Treasury before becoming Secretary of State for Education and Minister for Women and Equalities (2014 to 2016). She was also the first, and to date only, female chair of the Treasury Select Committee. Following her elevation to the House of Lords earlier this year, Nicky was appointed to the Lords\u2019 all party Committee on Covid-19, which was set up to consider the long-term implications of the COVID-19 pandemic on the economic and social wellbeing of the United Kingdom.<\/p>\n
Before entering Parliament in 2010, Nicky specialised in corporate law advising a range of private and public companies from 1996 to 2010.<\/p>\n
