Grayling supported campaign of Google launching the service „Flights“ in Slovak language. At the same time, Google was also localizing a feature in Google Search called „Destinations“.
Our aim was to spread the word around targeting largest audience possible. Due to the limited budget, we decided to rely on proven media realtions tools and based our strategy on 2-phase approach. It the first phase we aimed to reach out to 2 Tier A media with a strong impact on consumers, especially young people, via using high-quality and tailored materials. In the second phase, we focused on nationwide distribution, including targeting popular travel blogs and influencers, who could manage to reach a relatively broad young audience.
The right timing brought us results that exceeded expectations, and Flight and Destinations soon became a popular and practical guide for anyone planning trips, vacations or business trips.
Kaspersky has faced several reputational challenges and has became a subject of unfair geopolitical struggle. Our role was to create a campaign that help to demystify Kaspersky Lab and combat any negative feelings towards the brand in an engaging way.
Our idea was based on the Kaspersky´s irreplaceable function in cyber-security by providing high-quality products, technology and expertise to protect what matters the most to us. Our aim was to demystify prejudices and show the real value and company´s irreplaceable place in cyber-security. So we created Silkworm concept – creature that might seem ugly in one’s eyes, but produces precious product – silk. Kaspersky´s products & technologies protect most precious parts of our lives – in every lifecycle stage.
IT skills testing of Slovaks – IT Fitness Test – is a nationwide initiative of IT Association of Slovakia (ITAS) to verify digital skills, knowledge of the Internet and social networks or online marketing. This testing has been carried out for several years and its popularity is still growing. In past years, more than 26,000 pupils, students and teachers from primary, secondary and higher education, as well as those who wanted to test their digital skills, were involved annually. Grayling´s efforts contributed to this success, our main responsibilities included content creation, development of press materials, third parties and public stakeholder outreach and social media campaign.
Grayling supported Google Pay launch in Slovakia, being responsible for PR and B2B campaign.
Prior to the launch we communicated with the Slovak partners of the service (along with Google representatives) and prepared all background materials to coordinate communication between all involved subjects.We were fully responsible for covering media relations activities – selected media received background information under embargo and interviews were conducted in top tier Slovak media titles prior to the launch. Campaign included launch event (attended by all high level partners and record number of journalists) and further communication activities – programme achieved huge reach and engagement and we secured very smooth communication during the whole process minimazing the leaks and potential risks. The campaign was also awarded by national communication award PROKOP 2018 as highest ranking campaign in B2B category.
